Brief
To create a 20 second animated advert for ROAST Performance & Media Agency that would be aired for a week in Liverpool Street station during London Marketing Week. The goal was to promote the agency and to keep it bold, snappy, and easily digestible in a station environment. All copy was provided by the marketing team.
Key brief notes:
Include the ROAST yellow background
Feature the logo in the bottom right corner throughout
Have an animation of the ROAST pig in illustration form rolling around.
…With the time constraints, the Senior Designer and I decided not to add the animated pig images, as it would take too much time and potenitally miss the deadline for upload, so I suggested we use their network pattern graphic element and animate this instead. It made for a fun and effective alternative within the time frame and the agency was very happy with the result.
Research & Ideation
Final Ad live in Liverpool Street
The ad played for a week in Liverpool Street for the commuters of London to see. It was a great learning experience with Adobe After Effects and it helped me understand the importance of timing, transitions and effects in motion design.
