Hi! As you already know, my name is Charlotte and I’m your friendly neighbourhood junior graphic designer from South East London.

I’ve always been creatively motivated as a person, studying Art, 3D design and Geography for my A-levels at school. After this, I worked in customer service selling jewellery and from here, I went on to get my BA degree in Geography with Royal Holloway, UoL. Being naturally curious about the world around me, I loved the scope of study and human understanding that Geography provided. During my degree, I found that I focussed a lot of my research on creative and craft geographies (you can see where this is going already). After graduation I started an analytics internship, which progressed into my position as Data Visualisation Executive for a young digital performance agency. This is where I realised that the part of my role I enjoyed the most was getting to work with client branding to bring the data to life and tell a captivating visual story. Finally the penny dropped, and I realised I wanted to make the jump into graphic design to reconnect with my creative instincts, so I went on to study a career change course at Shillington College of Graphic Design London…
During my time there, I trained on fast paced brand identity, packaging, poster, web, app, art direction and overall print design briefs and enjoyed every challenge thrown at me. Since then, my freelance work has spanned brand identity design, art-working illustrative designs for client event rollouts, as well as multiple web and marketing collateral designs for Kitty Agency.
At the core, I always work to create a visual language that communicates my clients personality, goals and values in a way that’s fresh, relatable and inspiring for their customer base. All whilst setting them apart from the market status quo. Being able to connect with people through my creative outputs is something that really inspires me overall.
I want to use my skills and passions to brighten up the world one design at a time.
